WHAT: Writer/Director Chris Sivertson (I Know Who Killed Me) and Star Marc Senter (Cabin Fever 2)will be holding a Q&A for their new thriller THE LOST on Friday, September 29th, at the Laemmle’s Sunset 5 Theaters immediately following the 7:00pm screening. Moderated by Ryan Turek, Managing Editor of ShockTillYouDrop.com, Chris and Marc will discuss the challenges of bringing the shocking bestseller to the big screen, as well as take a few questions from the audience (time permitting).
WHEN: Friday, February 29th, 2008. Immediately following the 7:00pm showing of THE LOST
WHERE: Laemmle’s Sunset 5 Theaters
8000 Sunset Boulevard
Los Angeles, CA 90046
Based on the best-selling book by renowned author Jack Ketchum ("The Girl Next Door," "Off Season") comes THE LOST, a psychological thriller about the suburbs, the ennui of small town life…and a serial killer. Inspired by actual events, The Lost depicts human horror on an almost epic scale and finds that sometimes the most evil monsters are as close as next door. Adapted for the screen and directed by Chris Sivertson (I Know Who Killed Me), THE LOST is a suburban fairy tale gone horribly wrong. For sadistic sociopath Ray Pye (Marc Senter, Cabin Fever 2) and his friends, small-town life is a dead-end road of sex, drugs, liars and losers. Ray's charm, intelligence and good looks are matched only by his insatiable compulsion to kill. And what begins with a sudden act of senseless violence will climax in a mind-blowing frenzy of depravity…with the worst still to come!

Juno writer goes horror
Diablo Cody, who wrote the screenplay for JUNO, had a chat with Illinois' Daily Herald and spoke about her new screenplay which is a horror-comedy called JENNIFER'S BODY. The flick is to be directed by Karyn Kusama, and JUNO director Jason Reitman will be producing. Reitman also described the film saying, "Imagine if Juno became possessed by demons and began eating her classmates." Megan Fox (TRANSFORMERS) will star as a cheerleader, imbued with satanic nastiness after an encounter with a dark heavy metal band. Fox will then go on a killing spree and Amanda Seyfried has been cast as her best friend who will try to stop her. Sounds like a lotta fun! More when it happens.
