"I'm very excited about another film entitled MURDER AT HOLLOW'S POINT, a horror film produced by fellow movie maker Jeff Burton and directed by a great upcoming director talent Nathaniel Nose," says Perry. Jeff Burton's Indie Horror has been growing in the size and scope of their productions and here is a peek at their most recent effort starring Jason Carter.

Perry's own CDI announced a National Oct. release of GHOST TOWN with Perry starring along with the two famed Mountain Men from DELIVERANCE who won the Maxim Magazines 2005 Top Screen Villain's of ALL Time. Pre-Production on another western thriller WILD MICHIGAN is set for a fall 2008 shoot in association with Triumphant Pictures. Following is a project listed only as TIMBERWOLF to be distributed by Barnholtz Entertainment.

The dark aspects of these westerns may have crossover appeal with Perry's horror fans. "It's all good versus evil and sometimes the gun is as cool as the ax!," says Perry.

Int. trailer Zombie horror The Vanguard
A trailer for Matthew Hope's British post-apocalyptic zombie flick THE VANGUARD has hit the net and can be seen below. You can check out the film's official site right and the story of THE VANGUARD goes something like this: "The world is in chaos - the last known oil fields are depleted, over-population has reached critical levels & mankind is about to become a thing of the past. From this apocalyptic nightmare, an entity known as the Corporation devised a course of action to cull the human race and start a mass depopulation program. But the drug they created to kill instead reduces humans to a primitive ape-like state, now known as Biosyns.

Their sight reduced to virtual blindness, the Biosyns rely on scent and sound to survive, running wild in the unpopulated countryside. But for Max -- a young man cast adrift into the wilderness to live as a hunter/gatherer-- the Biosyns are the enemy, and must be fought to preserve his very existence. Max has forged a life without human contact, and every day is a battle to stay alive. Soon the Biosyns begin to evolve - learning first to communicate, then banding together, their vision returning -- and now they're coming for Max."

Aja Talks "Black Hole"
B-D caught up with director Alex Aja, who's currently in the process of editing his upcoming MIRRORS, where he revealed that he's still interested in THE BLACK HOLE, a project he once was attached to, and would like to make a film of it. Aja said, "Basically we received a script based on the graphic novel about three years ago. We fell in love with this story about teenagers as monsters. As we got into development we approached Roger Avery and Neil Gaimen to do it, but schedules got in the way, then we didn't really get along with the studio," he tells B-D. "Now David Fincher is attached, but he has loads of projects so it may eventually come back to us. It's a great graphic novel and I want to do it exactly as it is in the book, it has to have all the sexual innuendo and drug emphasis that are so great in the book!" The story of THE BLACK HOLE follows a group of high school students whose lives are altered drastically when they come in contact with a sexually transmitted disease called the "teen plague" or "the bug." More when it happens.
