Rogue One-Sheet
STYD got hold of the new poster for ROGUE that can be seen below or in a bigger version here. Greg (WOLF CREEK) Mclean's film stars Radha Mitchell, Michael Vartan, and Sam Worthington and is about: "Pete McKell (Michael Vartan) is a writer for an American travel magazine who has been assigned to write a story about vacationing in rugged Northern Australia. Pete signs up for a cruise along a river that's home to a large crocodile population, with tough but pretty Kate Ryan (Radha Mitchell) serving as guide. Pete soon finds he's roughing it in the Aussie wilds with an eclectic variety of travelers, including Russell (John Jarratt), who is dealing with the death of his wife; Simon (Stephen Curry), a tactless amateur photographer; and Allen (Geoff Morrell), a member of the British upper crust making the trip with his ailing spouse (Heather Mitchell) and their rambunctious daughter (Mia Wasikowska). While Kate's former husband, who also works on the river, makes a pest of himself in the early stages of the voyage, the travelers soon find they have more to worry about when their craft is attacked by a massive 25-foot crocodile, who is just clever enough to know how to trap its prey before enjoying them for dinner." ROGUE will get a limited release on April 25.

Official Rest Stop 2 Trailer
The official trailer for the REST STOP sequel, REST STOP: DON’T LOOK BACK has hit the net and can be seen below. From the looks of it, it looks like this follow-up is following in the same footsteps as the first flick ( review) but if that's good or not it of course totally up for you to decide.
Anyway, Shawn Papazian's flick is about: "One year after running away from home, Nicole (Julie Mond) and Jesse (Joey Mendicino) are still missing. When Jesse’s brother, Tom (Richard Tillman), returns home from active duty, he sets out with his friends Marilyn (Jessie Ward) and Jared (Graham Norris) to locate the lost couple. Their search leads them to the stretch of old highway with a mysterious Rest Stop, where they find themselves in the same predicament as Nicole and Jesse: confronting the madman (Brionne Davis) driving the menacing yellow truck. As their search continues, a run-in with the ubiquitous Winnebago Family leads Marilyn and Jared to ghostly encounters with Nicole. Meanwhile, Tom is kidnapped and tortured by the psycho, but upon his escape he uses the arsenal at his disposal to take his revenge. But bullets alone may not be enough to stop this sociopath bent on death and dismemberment."
Raw Feed will release REST STOP 2 on DVD in October and the flick stars Joey Mendicino, Jessie Ward, Graham Norris, Richard Tillman, Diane Salinger, Mikey Post, and Julie Mond. Check out the official trailer below.

EASTER BUNNY, KILL! KILL! available for download
EASTER BUNNY, KILL! KILL! producer and actor Trent Haaga spoke to Fango and revealed that the flick will be available for download. Haaga said, "Chad (the film's writer/director) and I have been having a heck of a time releasing the film, despite its winning the 'Most Disturbing Film' award at Philly's Backseat Film Festival a few weeks ago. A lot of low-budget filmmakers are having problems finding distribution, and I believe a lot of indie DVD companies are going to go down in the next few years. So Chad and I have decided to take matters into our own hands, which means a DVD-quality version of EASTER BUNNY, KILL! KILL! is available for download right now for only $3.99."
Regarding distributors, Haaga continues, "See, this is how it used to work—you made an independent film using your own money, blood, sweat and tears, and then you spend more money and time sending it out to distributors. You got an advance on the film—a check based on potential sales—from the distributor. After waiting six months to a year, the movie came out and you couldn't really find it anywhere, and then the distributors started sending you financial reports saying they hadn't made any money on it and never would, so you were never going to get your cut of the sales. It was a headache and really put the power into the hands of the distributor, who owned the rights to your film until the end of your contract. After the nightmares we had with the last distributor, Chad and I decided to take the reins into our own hands, and we're participating in a distribution experiment with a new company to see if we can't take the power back from the distributors, have our film available worldwide and actually make a little money—or at least our budget back—while retaining controlling rights. Thus: online distribution." To see the film just go over here.
