B-D is reporting that Patrick Lussier, (WHITE NOISE 2: THE LIGHT, DRACULA 2000, DRACULA II: ASCENSION, and DRACULA III: LEGACY), is going to helm the MY BLOODY VALENTINE remake for Lionsgate. The script has been penned, that is re-written, by Zane Smith who hasn't written anything we know of so far. The story of the film goes a little something like this: Ten years ago the sleepy town of Harmony, Montana was the setting for a series of grisly murders on Valentine's night. Now, it seems the killer is back...or is he? If you haven't heard of MY BLOODY VALENTINE before you should of course check out the original first which you can find a review of
here. The MBV remake opens in theaters everywhere Friday, February 13th, 2009.
