Fans of Pat Barringer (aka Pat Barrington) should be advised that a 10" statue of the bombshell is currently in development. The sculpture will be a full-figure of Pat, as "The Golden Girl", performing her nude dance routine from ORGY OF THE DEAD. Each statue will be painted gold (though a few "special" variants will be painted in flesh tones, inspired by the overture to her dance [i.e. before Pat is involuntarily dipped in molten gold]).
The Pat Barringer/ORGY OF THE DEAD statue is the creation of award-winning sculptor/illustrator Daniel Horne; peruse Mr. Horne's photo bucket for samples of his extraordinary work, here.
Special bonus (per statue): A brochure, written by Bill George (former Femme Fatales editor), titled Vanishing Act: The Life of Pat Barrington. George chronicles the ascendance of Pat as one of the Softcore Cinema's superstars (along with only a handful of other luminaries, e.g. Cathy Williams, Marsha Jordan, Rene Bond and Peggy Church). Making her debut in 1965's ORGY OF THE DEAD, Pat made over one dozen exploitation movies (including THE AGONY OF LOVE, MONDO TOPLESS, THE SATANIST, BLOW THE MAN DOWN, et al); a few of the gigs prompted professional bonding with the likes of Ed Wood, William Rotsler and Russ Meyer. She also prospered as a nude model, surfacing in a legion of girlie magazines. But upon wrapping two films in 1969, the chesty starlet abruptly disappeared. Did she intentionally circumvent the advent of hardcore movies? Did she experience some sort of personal contretemps? Or was she intimidated into bowing out of "adults only" commerce? Messers. Horne and George are confident that the burlesque babe's 35mm legacy and enigma will invoke a phoenix-like comeback a la Bettie Page; Horne's tempestuous statue is a testament to Pat's survival as a 1960s icon.

Only a very limited edition has been negotiated (less than 100 statues). See photo for further details.
