2001 MANIACS: BEVERLY HELLBILLYS delayed
Fearnet is reporting that the follow-up to 2001 MANIACS, that is 2001 MANIACS: BEVERLY HELLBILLYS, will be delayed because of the writer's strike. It was originally slated to be released on October 30, but due to the strike, we'll just have to wait and see what happens. Tim Sullivan will direct once again, and has written the film along with Chris Kobin and Christopher Tuffin. 2001 MANIACS: BEVERLY HELLBILLYS stars Robert Englund, Lin Shaye, Christa Campbell, Tony Todd, Courtney Peldon, Giuseppe Andrews, Talan Torriero, Noel Gugliemi, and Ashley Peldon, and here's the plot of the film: "After the sheriff refuses to cover up any further for the maniacs causing all the missing persons in the area, they're forced to hit the road in what's dubbed the "Pleasant Valley Traveling Road Show," where the maniacs head across country in hopes of gathering more victims. We'll follow a young TV crew called the "Road Rascals" as they find themselves mixed up with another one of the maniacs' deadly festivals."
