Major JEEPERS CREEPERS 3 update
Fango is reporting that JEEPERS CREEPERS 3 has officially begun preproduction at MGM and the flick will be entitled JEEPERS CREEPERS III: CATHEDRAL. Writer/director Victor Salva said that the opening will include a prologue in the Old West where we see how the Creeper became a frightening part of cowboy and Native American folklore, and after this the film will pick up where the second one left off.

"I will say," Salva said, "that one aspect of the third film features Trish Jenner (Gina Philips), who, 23 years later, has a teenage son of her own, named Darry after her long lost brother. Trish is having a terrible recurring dream where her son meets the same terrible fate as her brother. Now a rich and powerful woman, Trish is determined to stop the Creeper once and for all." Furthermore Salva also reported that the Creepers truck, BEATNGU, will make an appearance in the movie as well. More when it happens.
