Kneel Broadway, The Master is coming. Phantom. Les Miserables. The Producers. Movin' Out. Wicked. All will bow before MANOS: ROCK OPERA OF FATE.
A loving family is lost on the way to their paradise vacation. With nowhere left to turn, they stop at a small house in the middle of the unspecified, yet harsh desert, where they are met by Torgo, the keeper of the Master's House. As the family slowly realizes the danger, they try to devise an escape, but the forces of evil prevent them from leaving the house. As Torgo struggles between his loyalty to his master, and his love for the beautiful Margaret, The Master awakens. The climax? You have to see it to believe it.
The show to end all shows, MANOS: ROCK OPERA OF FATE is a musical journey into the lives of Torgo, the keeper of the Master's House, and Mike, Margaret, and Debbie, a family held together only by their genes and fear. Torgo, the tortured, sweet, misunderstood servant. Torgo, the half-man, half deer/elk/horse/whatever, with a song in his heart and love on his mind for the beautiful Margaret. Watch as their lives are torn asunder by the Master and his nefarious plans.
MANOS features a rousing musical score composed by NMTC company members Andy Grigg (Shakesploitation), Steve Attanasie (Cubicle: An Office Space Musical), and Megan Piccochi (Cubicle, The Flaming Dames), featuring songs such as, "(I Said) Manos (Hey Hey Manos)", "(Why Can't They See The) Torgo (Inside of Me)", and "(It's the) Devil (and it's fun). The cast features: Adam Rosowicz*, Adam Mack, Sean Harklerode, Tory Crowe*, Chris Hauser, Nate Sanford, Leslie Kerrigan*, Monique Madrid, Rebecca Gallagher, Michelle Dahlenburg, and Matt Russell (*denotes NMTC company member).
"I like to think of this show as my personal love letter to MeatLoaf." says Attanasie.
